1st Conference of the Swiss Society of Health Economics


About the conference

The conference aims to bring together researchers, policy-makers and practitioners to showcase and discuss cutting-edge research and emerging ideas in health economics. The theme of the conference is «Health Economics and Health System Reforms». Submissions related to this theme are particularly welcome, but proposals from all areas of health economics will be considered for inclusion in the program.

The conference will take place on September 14, 2018 at the University of Lucerne.

Call for Papers

The call for abstracts is open now. Deadline for submission is April 30, 2018. Notification of acceptance will be given by June 15, 2018.

Abstracts can be submitted via the Call for Papers System


Conference registration will be open from beginning of June 2018.

Registration fees

  • CHF 50 for members of the sggö
  • CHF 90 for non-members

Registration fees include a conference package, admission to all sessions (two keynotes, parallel sessions), lunch and refreshments.
